The ‘Krishibid Quazi AFM Zainul Abedin Memorial Fellowship’ is being launched. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Auto Crop Care Limited and Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) to encourage agricultural research and innovation, as well as to support meritorious students in higher education and research. Under this initiative, the ‘Krishibid Quazi AFM Zainul Abedin Memorial Fellowship’ is being launched to provide students with various forms of educational support, including scholarships, insurance coverage, and research assistance. On Tuesday (August 25), Quazi Ehsanul Abedin, Managing Director of Auto Crop Care Limited, and Krishibid Md. Nazrul Islam, Registrar of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the university's conference room. This fellowship aims to support the research of meritorious students and researchers, encourage innovation in agricultural technology, foster effective collaboration between industry and academic institutions, and undertake joint initiatives for skilled human resource development. Quazi A.F.M. Zainul Abedin, the founder of Auto Crop Care Limited, was a brilliant student of the then East Pakistan Agricultural Institute (now Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University) in 1953. Auto Crop Care Limited and Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University have expressed the hope that this Memorandum of Understanding and the fellowship will establish an effective model for the future development of agricultural education, research, technological innovation, and human resources.
